About Javelin

Over 40 years of helping UK manufacturers

Since starting life as Jobshop in 1983, Javelin has supported UK manufacturers for more than 40 years. Now part of Berkeley Myles Solutions, it’s entering a new chapter.

Our story

A new chapter, the same commitment

Javelin began in 1983 as Jobshop, grew into Jobshop Paragon and became Javelin in 2010. From the start it was built to give small and medium-sized manufacturers the same control over planning and production as much larger businesses, without the complexity.

In April 2026 Javelin was acquired by Banyan Software and joined Berkeley Myles Solutions Ltd, the developer of ProgressPlus MRP software for the precision engineering and manufacturing sector since 1996, and of IG-One. Both businesses share a deep understanding of UK manufacturing workflows.

For customers, it’s business as usual: the same software, the same support team and the same contacts, backed by renewed investment in Javelin’s development.
